Types of corrugated cardboard

3 ply corrugated cardboard (hereinafter: CO3 or Type III)

It is the cardboard with 3 layers of paper (the middle one wavy) and is divided into 3 subcategories: corrugated E, corrugated B, and corrugated C.

The Key features are:

• Weight between 340 and 440 g / sqm

• ECT 3.8 to 8.8 kN / m (resistance to stacking)

• Mullen 430 - 1670 kPa (resistance to crushing)

 • 8 to 12% moisture

Corrugated board in 5 plyes (hereinafter: CO5 or Type V)

It is a 5-layer paper cardboard (2 middle layers corrugated) and is divided into two subcategories: corrugated E + B and corrugated C + B

• Weight between 600 and 880 g / sqm

• ECT 6.2 to 11.5 kN / m (resistance to stacking)

• Mullen 600 - 2110 kPa (resistance to crushing)

• 8 to 12% moisture
